A Diving-inspired Endeavor

When we went to watch Road to the Horse in March '09, we got to see and hear about the Extreme Mustang Makeover and the fact that it would be held in Tennessee. It really hit me then that I wanted to try my hand at it. I checked out the EMM booth they had there and all of my customers who were there with me encouraged me to sign up for it.

After returning home, I came up with a million reasons why it would not be a good idea for me to sign up for EMM and I had about talked myself out of it. However, I kept having a nagging feeling that it was something God was urging me to do. It was coming up on the closing date for applications and I got a reminder e-mail from the Mustang Heritage Foundation. Well, I decided at the last minute to send in my application and go for it. The very same day, Brandi Lyons came to do a clinic for our barn and really gave me great encouragement and confirmation that I was supposed to be doing the EMM. She had judged and been a participant, so she was able to give me alot of insight and a better confidence about competing.

So... here we go, God has a plan here.
