2 weeks to go!!

Well, we've just been riding, riding, riding, these past couple of weeks. Nothing much exciting or interesting to report. I did fall off one day when we were chasing the big ball and Baja got his foot caught on it and we both fell over. It was an easy landing since we were in the indoor arena where it is soft. We both just got up and brushed it off.

Baja did get body clipped and braided this week. It has really helped to improve his looks. He was getting really fuzzy and would get reaaly hot when I worked him. He looks alot better and isn't getting so sweaty now when I ride him. I'm hoping braiding his mane will help it lay over. If not, I will have to try something else with it.

We have been planning out our freestyle performance. We will have to do a 4 minute freestyle if we make the top 10. I have the music ready and we've been practicing what we'll do. Next week we'll be working on obstacles again just to refresh him on them and make sure we are ready. Our spins, stops, and lead changes are passable, but not that great. Noone ever said I'm a reining trainer!
